Favorite posts for the month of June

Wow, I mean really WOW! June is over, well technically we still have a couple more days, but doesn’t it seem like time is just disappearing? Oh well, I will miss June when it is gone but another will be here before we know it in just a few months…12 to be exact.

Anyway, here are my favorite posts this month:

Laleh Chini- A voice from Iran … about a beautiful miracle.

Little miss traveler at love traveling. Day 4. exploring the Latvian Lakeside ( …..I want to live in a little cottage like this by some water surrounded by lots of green.

Pure Glory- Holy spirit fruit…so true. The world would be so much better if there was more love and kindness out there.

Explore with erik-…Check this out if you are curious about what the Arizona Grand Canyon would look like green. Love the waterfall in the distance.

Smileyriley94 at hopesongblog, Wolves at the gate …reminds me of fairy tales when I was little but this one was too close to home, gave me goose bumps. Great read, thanks Smiley.

Wheels of change 41 at wheels of change- 5 Five Minute things you can do to be kind to the planet  she lives on a boat and is very good at recycling and conserving so she has some great tips. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I noticed some I am already doing from your lists but there were a few I didn’t know about.

Kirsty’s kitchen Creations– Dark chocolate fudge crunch rocky road. My daughter would love this, I will have to share this recipe with her later, hopefully she will try it. She loves cooking.

Christy istrate-at Miraculous smile-Peace Joy, and Faith.  A post to make you feel good, we could all use that these days.

Restless roots-June 24th post. Oh my gosh, you have to check out this little fawn and it’s story. Frank saved a fawn and an adorable one at that, but then all fawns are adorable.

3C style-When Fashion and nature collide-June issue  We really need to take a closer look at our bees, they not only have something beautiful to show us but they also are the canaries of this planet, they are letting us know that something is up you guys. Thank you 3C Style for showing us these precious little creatures and how important they are. Love how you combine the clothes and nature with your outfits. Great photos too…it is very creative what you are doing.

Jane Gealy at the world according to Dom,…Dom is back from his big adventure and there is a wedding in the future, Congratulations.

Special thanks goes to Merry motherhood  for including me and nominating me in her 3 days 3 quotes challenge.

Seems like this was the month of quotes and there were some good ones out there. Check out Cristian Mihai at the art of blogging  on his post about the importance of including quotes with your posts. I always post new quotes on my website every month and the quotes have to do with something I might be going through at the moment or depending on the mood I am in. I love quotes.

There are still a couple days left in a summer meet and greet for anyone interested in meeting new bloggers. Nikki over at A Kinder way is having a summer meet and greet . Thank you Nikki for doing this.

This month I did not get to do any DIY projects from other bloggers sites. I love seeing what you all come up with and try to do at least one DIY from another site every month and post my results but I didn’t have time this month. But I hope to make some art from an old pan, thanks Mel for that tip . Or little alphabet letters from Kelly’s recycled baby clothes.

Meanwhile I am cleaning and storing pine needles for one of my many goals this year and that is to make a pine needle basket. This is a new skill so wish me luck.

Also been busy in the garden. Some new sunflowers popped out to say hello. Discovered some lettuce I didn’t know I planted growing out the side of one of my pots and got some tomatoes, which I am very happy about even though they were tiny, they were yummy. Special thanks to Vance, Lillian and baby Phebes for the delicious cherries and apricots you picked for us from your trip back home.

Thank you to everyone that stops by my site for visits, likes and comments. Welcome to all the new followers I got this month and also thanks for stopping by. Thanks also to all you bloggers out there sharing a little of yourselves with us. Happy July and happy blogging everyone. Stay safe and happy out there in the world.

Before I forget… Karen “Dink” Urbanski–  posted a video no one should miss seeing titled Coffee with Paul, please watch the video, no matter how busy you are and yes I am begging. You see, I believe the world is struggling right now with people being afraid of one another and being pushed away from one another with what is being said and reported on. This video shows just how wonderful it can be when everyone has something they all love together. Paul McCarthy was blessed with a very special gift and he shares that gift with the world, bringing people together that make us all happy standing side by side each other. If this one doesn’t get your eyes watering then you must be from another planet. Thank you Karen for posting this one to share with us all, my favorite scene is where the lady at the bar is so surprised, her expression is priceless. That is pure joy and happiness.

One more thing…Welcome back Edmark …so glad you are back to posting, sorry to hear about your grandfather. Thank you for all your posts.

Coming in July:

Visit to an Arizona feed store.

DIY-Clay critters

Christmas in July up at Our Little Red House.

  1. Thank-you for mentioning my post… it means a great deal to me. I also like that you welcomed Edmark back, shared some beautiful pictures and mentioned other posts that you enjoyed… I will be checking them out. You are kind and I enjoy your blog! 🤗

    1. Awww. thank you. Your posts deserved to be mentioned, thanks for sharing them with us all and I was worried about Edmark there for awhile, wondering what happened. I figured he was on a summer break like a lot of other bloggers seem to be doing right now. It was sad to read about his grandfather. I always wonder what happened when bloggers I follow just disappear without any word. Maybe it is blog burn out…who knows, as long as they are okay and out there enjoying life.

  4. Oh and your going to have to write a blog about how to preserve those pine needles and the basket I have plenty of them!😁

    1. Yeah that would be a good post. It will be funny to see the whole process of learning something new. Everything looks a little messy the first time we learn a new skill. There are tons of videos on YouTube about preserving and making pine needle baskets though, so that’s good.

    1. Your welcome. I do love my sunflowers. Wish I would have gotten one of the huge ones this year with seeds but I guess I didn’t plant any giant ones this year. I love sharing seeds with everyone.

    1. I know, lettuce just pops out when you forget you planted some, at least that is what happened in my case. There were some ;lettuce seeds still floating around I guess from last year.My pine needles are still in a big pile at the moment, I need to clean and organize them.
